"Just driving back to melb looking for lunch, unexpectedly found this great place tucked in behind the trees. Great coffee, cakes & lunch sitting on the rustic benches under the umbrellas. Even joined by the lovely old dog. I think by the time we finished every local trades & local had bought lunch."

"I'm a little biased but ... I often visit as the cafe is also my post service. They are also my friends, so be nice please They make great coffee (see photo) Magnificent sandwiches, the Reuben is a favourite of mine. Named more after the artist Peter Paul more than than Reuben Kulakofsky as it's a piece of art more than a couple of bits of bread with random stuff in it. The sausage rolls are made with proper puff pastry rather than the seed oil filled stuff. Home made dim sins (Freudian slip intended ) and the list goes on. Sonya closes at 3 as she starts very early and has lots to do after work. It's also in the prettiest valley this side of Bermuda triangle, (slight exaggeration.. but see photo and you may agree) So visit, grab some lovely food , coffee ( they have a cracking 4 shit extra large .. oh... I nearly forgot, the vanilla slice is , well you just try one! No exaggeration, it's magnificent!! Then visit the cherry place up the road, get some natural soap from Dindi naturals, have a couple of drinks at the pub, then explore the local area, wonderful views everywhere. "I was passing by and felt so hungry, so I ordered the red smoothie. It was so good and had no sugar at all. The staff were so nice and friendly—it totally made my day!"

"Best Dim Sims in Australia! Great range of yummy, home cooked food. Vanilla slice is amazing too. Perfect spot to pull over when driving through but unfortunately their open hours can be a little unreliable (can expect that in the country though). Their cute old working dog will greet you and help you finish any leftovers too, extra points for this :)"

"You have to stop at The Giddy Goat for a salad sandwich and a cup of the best ever mulberry yoghurt. All the food looked fantastic and the lady running the cafe was lovely. Yarck may not look like much but it’s a must stop in country Victoria."
